Drywall in Omaha and Council Bluffs
Drywall hung, taped and finished on new builds, remodels and repairs. We keep the work area covered while we are in the house, so you are not the one left with the mess at the end of it.
Drywall is the finish everyone sees and nobody notices until it is done badly. A wall hung slightly out of plane, or taped with joints that were rushed, shows itself the moment afternoon light comes across it, and no amount of paint hides that. It is also where roof and plumbing leaks tend to announce themselves, as a stain on a ceiling or a crack running out from the corner of a door frame, which is why a fair amount of our drywall work comes as part of putting something else right.
We hang, tape and finish drywall on new builds, remodels and repairs. That means setting the board with proper fastener spacing, taping and coating the joints in stages rather than trying to get there in one pass, and sanding it flat before it ever sees primer. Ceilings, corners, arches and coffered work take longer and we price them as such rather than pretending otherwise. We also keep the work area covered while we are inside the house, because drywall dust travels further than anyone expects and the cleanup is not something a homeowner should be left holding.

Start to finish.
Look at the room
We measure the space, check the framing and agree what the finished surface has to be.
Price the work
Ceilings and detail work are priced honestly rather than buried inside a square footage figure.
Hang and tape
Board goes up, then joints are taped and coated over several visits so each coat dries properly.
Sand and clean
The surface is sanded flat, the coverings come up and the dust goes with us.

We will come out, tell you what we find and put a price in writing. The visit is free and nothing is added to it afterwards.
Drywall questions we get asked.
Yes. Patching a water stained ceiling or a damaged wall is a normal job for us, and it often follows a roof repair.
Sanding makes dust, so we seal the work area and cover what we can. We clean it up at the end rather than leaving it for you.
We finish the drywall ready for primer. Painting is a separate trade and we are straight with you about where our work stops.
